I got to watch rehearsals at the English National Ballet school today. It was brilliant. Only problem was that the models kept moving…

rgxsingh asked: hi katie, sorry i might be sounding like a stalker. Tbh i also have passion like you to draw but my drawing are all digital n now im thinking to draw something real world .. out of box, but i never tried oil paints. If you don't mind may i know from where you're doing diploma or you can recommend any art school? yh I know, im completely a stranger asking too many ques,. Sorry for making you feel weird.

Dude, that’s absolutely fine! I love to talk art. I’m currently studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, which I love to pieces. They do week-long courses during the summer and Easter holidays, as does the putney school of art and design, which is relatively nearby. Personally, I love oil paints and find painting digitally very difficult, so everybody has their strengths and weaknesses! If you’re interested in portraiture though, heatherley is amazing because it has multiple courses and diplomas focused on portrait painting/sculpture, and all the tutors are practicing portrait artists. I can’t recommend it more highly!

Preliminary research and sketches. We have two models doing two poses each, and we are to have four figures in the painting. Trying to figure out a decent composition! The project is inspired by Diana and Acteon.
